shades of grey

But which is worse, Brian: greyness or blackness? At least you can still see things when it's grey- such as the wonderful skeleton on a naked tree. Without artificial light, you can see nothing on dark January mornings when the sun doesn't rise til gone 8.00. Does anyone still want us to have "summer" clock time all year round when dawn would be even later? Now that IS depressing!

It wouldn't be depressing if the clocks went the other way for winter (ie. winter is double british summer time). Then we might actually see some light after we get home from work.
