About Me
- Name: briandraper
I'm a writer, thinker and speaker who hopes to provide an inspiring presence for people who want to be part of the solution, not the problem. I've written ‘Searching 4 Faith’ (Lion), and am writing a new book as we speak about Spiritual Intelligence. I present Thought for the Day on Radio 4, and I'm an associate lecturer at the London Institute for Contemporary Christianity. I call my work 'Echosounder' because it's about finding treasure below the surface of our lives.

Call me Mr Psychosomatic Unity if you will, but the two are pretty much indivisible. I'll put up with a lot of personal discomfort if I know that what I'm aiming for is happening. The problem comes when neither are happening...
A certain guy who walked in Palestine 2 millennia ago seemed to manage both, Brian- though admittedly he had to give up his life first to achieve it, only to find it again.
Maybe therein lies our answer.
Are we only fulfilled when we have and embody vision, i suppose it depends what the visioning is. No idea really but I like the disturbance it has brought
